Founded in 1981, Sugarloaf Landscape & Nursery has grown into one of the St. Louis Metro area’s most trusted full-service landscape and nursery operations. Serving both Missouri and Illinois communities, we bring over 80 years of combined horticultural experience to every project we undertake.

In 2002, Sugarloaf transitioned to its current ownership group, expanding its capabilities while maintaining the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and plant excellence that built its reputation. Today, we operate on 40 acres of growing space with 23 greenhouses and maintain an inventory of approximately 150,000 plants — growing nearly 90% of our own trees and shrubs. This allows us to control quality from the ground up and provide our clients with healthy, locally grown plant material suited to Midwest conditions.

As a full-service Design-Build-Maintain landscape provider, we serve both residential and commercial clients throughout the St. Louis region. From custom landscape design and irrigation systems to large balled-and-burlapped tree installations, retaining walls, paver patios, grading, and turf management, our team manages projects from initial concept through long-term maintenance.

Our commercial portfolio includes projects ranging from $10,000 to over $250,000, reflecting our ability to deliver both detailed residential work and large-scale commercial installations. Sugarloaf is certified by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Missouri Department of Agriculture, St. Louis Airport Authority, and the Illinois Department of Transportation, reinforcing our commitment to professional standards and regulatory excellence.
